Rocks or minerals may appear to be inert but they are extremely potent in their ability to effect change.  Maybe that is because on the cellular level we are full of rocks and elementals...gold, silver, mercury, aluminum, copper, lead, silica, nickel, boron....
 
Plants in the form of essential oils are powerfully effective chemicals.  They are the plants own immune system.  If you tear the leaf of a plant it will release some sap as a result of the injury.  This first kills any bacteria, molds or fungus that are a possible threat to the well being of the plant and then the tear is sealed and the healing process begins.  What works for the plant world also works for animals and people.  Besides the physical body aromatherapy is effective on the emotions, the energy field and the spiritual body.
 
Water is a fascinating medium.  It can be programmed with color, flowers, music, affirmations, pictures and gem stones.  Once the elixir is made the elixir becomes then more potent than the individual rock or flower that was used to make it.  How can this create change and balance when used in session?  We are familiars with water and so there is a quick and easy transfer of energy and healing properties.  What are we made up of anyway?  We are 70% water.
 
Alternating temperature is used to give the body a vascular workout.  Rapid shifting of temperature forces the body to work to find balance during the shifts of hot to cold.  When the cold is brought to the body the part of the body that has the cold rock on it closes because of the cold. The brain, however goes into a panic and it begins to go into a process of rapidly moving the blood around  as it strives to warm the body.  The extreme movement and rapid shifting of  blood flow flushes the toxins and then brings in the nutrients to facilitate the healing process.
